Multi-Screen Support For Wayland's Weston IVI Shell

Weston's IVI Shell, the reference implementation of this Wayland compositor for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, is gaining multi-screen support.

Nobuhiko Tanibata of DENSO who has already been heavily involved in the Weston ivi-shell has posted patches amounting to around 400 lines of code for implementing multi-screen support.

Tanibata commented on the patch series, "This allow user to manage a hierarchy; surface, layer, and screen. Current code expects single screen so user can not assign a layer to another display by using ivi-layout interface. This patch series also updates a reference code of controller; hmi-controller to manage surfaces in multi screen. It provide an example of layer inter multi screens."
