Thanks to everyone who supported Phoronix in 2015 and here's to a Happy New Year to all our readers and may 2016 be even more interesting and fruitful.

Assuming no very exciting news comes up this afternoon, it's looking like we'll close out 2015 with having 3,267 original news stories and 261 original reviews / featured articles this year on Phoronix. That also brings the total tally to over 17,000 original news articles and 3,000+ featured articles/reviews written on Phoronix since 2004.

In the various articles over the past few days I've already covered the various highlights of the year in the different categories we monitor closely on Phoronix, so check out all of the articles over the past few days if you are interested via our news archive.

Some of my personal highlights for 2015 was the basement server room build (and its redux), the release of Phoronix Test Suite 6.0 Hammerfest, the release of the Jetson TX1, all of the open-source AMD Linux driver improvements, Skylake CPUs finally shipping in all their beauty, and all of the continued Linux kernel advancements. Also special thanks to Eric Griffith this year for serving as our summer intern and his splendid articles.

Commenting in the forums you're welcome to share your personal highlights for 2015 as well as further hopes for 2016. Don't forget going on is also the end-of-year reader survey. Lastly, you have through the end of the day today to take advantage of our Christmas Phoronix Premium special and consider any last-minute holiday tips.

Happy New Year!
