The Vulkan Programming Guide Has Begun Shipping
The official Vulkan programming guide book has finally begun shipping. This is one of the "definitive guides" to programming with this new high-performance Khronos graphics API and the book is authored by industry veterans Graham Sellers and John Kessenich.
The book was originally slated to ship in August while most recently the Amazon release date was revised to 9 November. Multiple Phoronix readers, however, have confirmed in the past 24 hours that their orders have begun to ship. This book is a 480-page guide to programming with Vulkan and is currently Amazon's #1 rated book within the OpenGL / Graphics & Multimedia space.
The book is currently selling for $54.98 USD (unless you happened to pre-order back when we were telling you about it being 25% off!).
If you want to order this Vulkan programming book or learn more about it, visit Amazon.com. Should be a good read and I do plan on personally ordering it to read it when time magically allows.
