Ubuntu Looks To Fill Vacated Developer Membership Board Seat
The Ubuntu Developer Membership Board (DMB) has issued a call for nominations to fill a vacant seat on the board following the recent resignation by Scott Kitterman.
At the end of last month, longtime Ubuntu contributor Scott Kitterman announced his intent to resign from the DMB following the Ubuntu Community Council controversy with the KCC / Jonathan Riddell. Scott's resignation is effective as soon as a new board member is elected and accepts the responsibility.
The announcement went out today in calling for nominations for this seat while the voting on nominees will start at the end of June and proceed through mid-July.
