Ubuntu 17.10 Final Beta Is Ready For Testing

The 17.10 beta is available for Ubuntu / Ubuntu Server / Ubuntu Cloud as well as Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Studio, and Xubuntu. This is with the final 17.10 Artful release being just three weeks away.
Ubuntu 17.10 is approaching its final shape with having recently switched over to the Linux 4.13 kernel, the GNOME Shell session atop Wayland continues getting fine-tuned, and other remaining changes being made.
For those not desiring the GNOME Shell experience, Kubuntu is shipping with Plasma 5.10.5 and KDE Applications 17.04.3. They've also switched away from Dragonplayer as their default media player to now using VLC. They also replaced Amarok with the Cantata Qt5 music player.
