Even With Steam Machines, Steam Linux Usage Stays Below 1%

The November 2015 Steam Survey results are now available with a reported Linux percentage of 0.98%, or an improvement of just 0.03% over the prior month. It's still well below the all-time high for Steam Linux usage, which was near 2% when this online game distribution platform originally premiered for Linux, while most of the year has been spent well below 1%.
It will be interesting to see how the Steam Linux market-share pans out in the months ahead and if Steam Machines / SteamOS manages to take off, but so far these living room Linux-based gaming PCs have received very mixed reviews with no super compelling reason for Windows gamers to switch to Linux.
As of writing this article there's currently 1,685 games available natively for Linux/SteamOS via Steam. Steam Survey results are available here.
