Spec Ops: The Line Is The Latest Linux Shooter

Spec Ops: The Line is a 2012 third-person military shooter game that takes place in Dubai. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 3 game is now supported on Windows, OS X, and Linux. The reason why some Linux gamers will not be happy with this port is that it relies upon the eON wrapper for its Linux version. The eON wrapper was initially very buggy for Linux and caused massive performance issues with previous Linux ports like The Witcher 2. eON has improved a lot in past months, but lingering issues and the fact that it's not a totally native and true Linux port is enough to disgruntle some Linux gamers.
Spec Ops: The Line for Linux is currently being discussed within this forum thread. The Linux port of this shooter game was announced yesterday via SteamCommunity.com. The game is currently selling for 80% off with a price of $5.99 compared to $29.99.
If Spec Ops: The Line works well for automated Linux benchmarking, I'll see about putting out some graphics card / driver tests of this latest Linux game.
