Clear Linux Powered Solus 1.0 Linux OS Set For Release This Week
The Solus Operating System is planning to announce its version 1.0 release on Christmas.
Solus is a newer but promising desktop Linux distribution built off of Intel's Clear Linux project, features the Budgie Desktop, and more.
In the latest weekly update for Solus, Josh Strobl announced that they will be releasing Solus 1.0 on 25 December. With Solus 1.0 it will be powered by the Linux 4.3 kernel and have Skylake support, initial AMDGPU driver support, libinput-based input on X.Org, updated Intel and Nouveau graphics support, and the updated Budgie desktop support.
