QEMU 2.3 Officially Released

QEMU 2.3 was officially released today as the latest major release for this important component to the open-source Linux virtualization stack.

QEMU 2.3 provides many new features as talked about in past Phoronix articles like a new Ivy Bridge CPU model, 32-bit KVM guests on 64-bit ARM hosts, improved UI performance/support, performance improvements in different areas, and new MIPS capabilities.

The official release announcement for QEMU 2.3.0 was sent out a short time ago to the qemu-devel list.
