Phoronix Test Suite 6.6 "Loppa" Is In Development, Milestone 1 Released
The first milestone release of Phoronix Test Suite 6.6 "Loppa" is now available for your open-source, cross-platform benchmarking needs,
Phoronix Test Suite 6.6 will be the Q3'2016 quarterly update to our GPLv3 benchmarking software. Continuing in our codename tradition, Loppa is a town/island in Finnmark, Norway. As the successor to Phoronix Test Suite 6.4-Hasvik, 6.6-Loppa will focus on continued features to Phoromatic, more underlying features necessary for improvements to OpenBenchmarking.org, and other new client-side improvements.
With today's Phoronix Test Suite 6.6 Milestone 1 release, OpenCV is now supported as an external dependency, there are some fixes / minor enhancements to the phoronix-test-suite stress-run mode, the Phoromatic web interface now allows specifying arbitrary test suite versions when building your own custom test suite, min/max results are now shown on multi-way comparisons within pts_Graph, some color tweaks are now present in pts_Graph, the Phodevi library has been updated for thermal reporting with the AMDGPU-PRO driver stack, and there are various other internal improvements for this release.
