Phoronix Test Suite 5.8 Milestone 5 Brings Near Final "Belev" Experience

The PTS 5.8 M5 release brings much faster result file merging and parsing of data, phoronix-test-suite stress-run improvements, and a lot of Phoromatic work. Phoromatic changes include an improved tracker page, an updated maintenance page, graphing of sensor results via the Phoromatic Dashboard and systems pages, SVG scaling, and the initial Phoromatic Export Viewer.
Many of these Phoronix Test Suite 5.8 Milestone 5 changes were designed to support LinuxBenchmarking.com with what was explained earlier this week in Opening The Gates To Our Daily Open-Source Linux Benchmark Results.
For those sticking to milestone releases of our benchmark software, Phoronix Test Suite 5.8 Milestone 4 was announced last week but I didn't get around to doing a tarball release and announcing it on Phoronix. Changes for that earlier version includes explicit support for Fedora's DNF for package management, Phodevi now reports a kernel's build date when relevant, improved Radeon GPU voltage reporting, and there were many other Phoromatic changes.
Download this latest open-source benchmarking software release from Phoronix-Test-Suite.com or Phoronix-Test-Suite on GitHub. The official Phoronix Test Suite 5.8.0 release is tentatively planned for next week. As always, commercial support and custom engineering services for the Phoronix Test Suite and Phoromatic are offered by contacting Phoronix Media.
