Our Black Friday Linux Deal Has Been Extended!
On Friday we rolled out our first-ever discount deal on Phoronix Premium as part of Black Friday and those wishing to support our site over the holidays. Given the much interest in the significant savings, I've decided to extend this deal through the end of the month.
You can still save on your Phoronix Premium subscription -- $25 USD rather than $35 through the end of November, rather than just being a 24 hour special. There's a refreshing number of new premium subscribers that joined on Friday and so I've decided to go ahead and keep this deal going considering the amount of interest.
See the original post for details on how you can join Phoronix Premium for just $25 a year (about $2 a month), which gives you ad-free viewing and the ability to view multi-page articles on a single page and more, while supporting our site. One of the immediate changes already thanks to the new subscribers is that through at least the end of the month I'll be running two featured articles/reviews per day rather than the usual one per day. There's also some other exciting and interesting tests I'm now working on as saying thanks to the new subscribers. I'm also still soliciting feedback on what laptops you'd like to see tested under Linux in December. If the new subscriber count keeps rising, I'm exploring some other interesting possibilities too...
P.S. to those that have asked what it would cost to have a lifetime Phoronix Premium subscription, I'll honor any amount over $150 USD for a Phoronix Lifetime subscription.
Thanks to all of those supporting Phoronix over the past 11+ years.
