Another Studio Is Working On A Unigine-Based Game

BlueGiant Interactive is a new game studio that's based in Hyderabad, India. At first this made me less hopeful of seeing a quality Unigine game out of BlueGiant, but the studio is led by a former programmer from Electronic Arts and Microsoft. An early prototype of this unannounced RTS game was shown earlier this month in Germany during Gamescom. The BlueGiant Interactive announcement was made in this press release. (There's a few screenshots so it's perhaps worth a look.)
The only other title that BlueGiant Interactive seems to have under its belt is Apox, which seems to be in beta and is "a post-apocalytic survival strategy game set in Mad-Max-esque universe. The player takes command of survivors as they battle up to 31 other human (or AI) opponents." It doesn't appear though that this RTS game is what's being based off the Unigine Engine.
Hopefully there will be a Linux client for this forthcoming Unigine-based RTS, which shouldn't be much of a problem considering the full Linux compatibility with Unigine.
Meanwhile, Unigine Corp is still busy working on their OilRush strategy game. They hope to ship that before year's end after suffering from a few delays. They continue pushing out new development builds to those that have pre-ordered the game. Unigine Corp announced this week that OilRush can be purchased from the Ubuntu Software Center.
Additionally, it was also found out today that Unigine's Sanctuary, Tropics, and Heaven benchmarks should soon be available under Mac OS X. They've been working internally and over the summer Unigine Corp ported the Unigine Engine to Mac OS X. OilRush is already available for Mac OS X gamers.
