Free Copies Of Unigine's New Linux Game
There's just one week left to win one of three copies of Unigine's OilRush game, which is a real-time strategy for Linux / Mac OS X / Windows operating systems that's built atop Unigine's impressive game engine with first-class Linux support.
As said in the original announcement, the contest is going on until 3 April. There's two ways to win:
- Follow @Phoronix and @MichaelLarabel on Twitter. By following these two twitter feeds about Linux and technology, you will automatically be in the drawing to win one of at least two copies of the multi-platform OilRush.
- The other option to win is to register on OpenBenchmarking.org and upload a test result from your system using either the Unigine Heaven or Unigine Tropics test profiles (detailed instructions for those needed are in the original contest announcement).
It's that easy to win a copy of OilRush. As it's a pre-order, until the June launch you also gain access to a beta builds of the game. Unigine OilRush is also coming to Steam and those winners should be able to access the game there as well.
Good luck on this easy contest that supports Linux gaming. As of right now, less than 1,200 people have this premiere Unigine title.
