AMD Releases New Stream SDK For Linux With OpenCL 1.1

OpenCL 1.1 delivered on support for three new data types, the ability to handle commands from multiple hosts and processing buffers across multiple devices, enhanced use of events to drive and control command execution, more OpenCL C built-in functions, and improved OpenGL interoperability.
Besides ATI Stream SDK v2.2 implementing the OpenCL 1.1 specification, the 2.2 release features support for Ubuntu 10.04 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5, SSE3.x and later CPU support, support for single-channel OpenCL image format, the capability to generate and load binary OpenCL kernels, support for native OpenCL kernels, and other optimizations.
