Linux 2.6.35-rc6 Kernel Released; Final Coming Soon

The Intel graphics fix is thanks to David Airlie enabling support for low-power render writes with Intel's third-generation IGPs. Those that experienced the X Server hanging, the blitter engine hanging, or lots of crashes with hardware such as the Intel 945GM found in many netbooks, should now try out the Linux 2.6.35 kernel to hopefully have a better experience.
For the other changes within the Linux 2.6.35-rc6 kernel, the release announcement has the short change-log attached. Linus expects 2.6.35-rc6 to be the last release candidate, so the final release of the Linux 2.6.35 kernel may be as soon as next week. This kernel offers some minor EXT4/Btrfs enhancements and graphics DRM improvements (including the Intel H.264 VA-API support), among various other changes.
