GNOME 2.31.4 Is Ready For Some Testing Love

Matthias Clasen on behalf of the GNOME Release Team announced GNOME 2.31.4 this afternoon. Notably with this release there are many GNOME packages that have switched from using GTK+ 2.x to using the new GTK+ 3.0 API. As we reported in the earlier GTK+ 3.0 test release announcement, there is also now a standalone gdk-pixbuf package.
The GNOME 2.31.4 release announcement can be read on the project's mailing list. There's also files for the desktop and platform changes that contain various interesting tid-bits for packages we have not mentioned.
A GNOME 2.31.5 release is due in just two weeks followed by another unstable release in early August and then GNOME 3.0 going into beta by late August. The official release of GNOME 3.0 is expected on the 29th of September.
