Catalyst 10.5 For Linux Is Out: Nothing Exciting

Officially, the only new feature in Catalyst 10.5 for Linux is "early look" support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop / SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 1. There are, however, resolved issues pertaining to Hybrid CrossFire, kernel panics on hibernation, and suspend-and-resume fixes.
There is already some initial driver feedback (download links and release notes can also be found in these posts) on the Catalyst 10.5 release with mixed thoughts -- some are reporting improvements for some games under Wine while others continue to run into problems with XvBA/VA-API and the Direct2D Linux acceleration.
