While Fedora 13 was scheduled to be released in one week, that is no longer the case. Red Hat's Paul Frields has announced that due to the blocker bug list not being cleared, the release of Fedora 13 has to be pushed back by one week.

The new release date for Fedora 13 is now the 25th of May. At the moment there are still three bugs open blocking the Fedora 13 release and they affect Anaconda with a system error, GRUB not providing a short timeout by default on multi-boot setups, and a Kickstart file not being generated in some instances.

At least with this delay in the Fedora 13 release schedule they will not be in a mad rush to spin new ISOs on release day, like Canonical had to do with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS due to a major issue.

The announcement of the Fedora 13 release slip can be read on the Fedora mailing list.
