The Status Of Unigine's Linux-Compatible Game
Unigine's CEO, Denis Shergin, has shared with us that currently they have temporarily postponed work on this game project to develop a "short interactive demo" for Microsoft's DirectX 11.0 launch. However, Denis is hoping the developers will get back to work on this multi-platform Unigine game project in November. This does, however, lower hopes of seeing the Unigine game make it out this year as was once anticipated.
With id Software shafting Linux users with their forthcoming engine/games, Unreal Tournament 3 still missing, the Unigine game now being pushed back, and not a whole lot of interesting titles coming out from the small publishers right now for Linux, this isn't an opportune moment for Linux gamers this year.
