Ubuntu Dapper Drake Flight 7 Alpha has been released. The release is slated to be relatively free of bugs, however, it is still not recommended for use on production machines. Largely only bug fixes have been applied to this release. Some of the notable changes include fixing crashes in the LiveCD installer, file-systems are now mounted in the correct order, and leading and trailing spaces in passwords now work properly. This new release is available for Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, and Edubuntu. More is at Ubuntu. The final release of Ubuntu Dapper Drake v6.06 is due on June 1.
