It's been just under three months since
GCC 4.3.0 was released with support for Intel's SSE4.1/SSE4.2 instruction sets and experiment C++0x support, and now there is GCC 4.3.1. The GCC 4.3.1 release fixes a number of regressions and other bugs, which are all laid out within the
GCC BugZilla. The release announcement was made on the
GNU mailing list.
The next major release of GCC is
GCC 4.4, which will deliver improved support for the C++0x standard and support built-in AES/PCLMUL Intel functions.
