NVIDIA Releases GeForce 9 Mobile GPUs

Also announced today was Hybrid SLI, which isn't to be confused with AMD's Hybrid CrossFire. The Hybrid version of CrossFire is designed to split the rendering workload between supported ATI IGPs and the low-end Radeon graphics cards such as the Radeon HD 3650. NVIDIA's Hybrid SLI enables two GeForce 9M GPUs to be be used in Scalable Link Interface, but with one of the GPUs operating in a low-power mode and the other being performance oriented, or both running in their optimal performance mode depending upon the power situation. Hybrid SLI also brings two other features called GeForce Boost and HybridPower.
More information on these GeForce 9M GPUs can be found in today's press release. We expect these new mobile GPUs will be supported via the binary Linux drivers in the near future.
