GNOME 2.22.0 Desktop Released!

As planned, GNOME 2.22.0 has been released today. We've previously talked about the interesting changes that can be found in this six month update to GNOME, which includes a new VNC client, international clock applet, Totem Movie Player enhancements, window compositing, web camera software, and many other changes. Foresight Linux 2.0 was released today, which includes the GNOME 2.22.0 packages. Most of the Linux desktop distribution refreshes this spring will also be shipping with GNOME 2.22.0. If you're interested in immediately checking out this latest desktop environment, you can use GARNOME to build from source.
