Ubuntu 8.04 Is Called "Hardy Heron"

Jono Bacon, the community manager for Ubuntu, has just announced that Ubuntu 8.04 will be called "Hardy Heron". This continues in the alphabetical naming scheme after Dapper Drake, Edgy Eft, Feisty Fawn, Gutsy Gibbon, and now Hardy Heron. As we have shared before, Ubuntu 8.04 will be a Long Term Support release. Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron will arrive next April, while Gutsy Gibbon will ship this October.
