NethServer is along the lines of pfSense, Smoothwall, m0n0wall, and other network/server-focused Linux/BSD operating systems. NethServer 7 is based on the CentOS 7 code-base, which of course in turn is based off Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. NethServer 7 ships with Samba 4 Active Directory Controller support, Nextcloud 10 can be easily deployed, there is now a certificate management panel, firewall improvements, network handling advancements, a new web-based UI skin, and there is a range of other improvements to this Linux distribution.
