While it hasn't been long since the release of GNOME 2.18.1, let alone the release of GNOME 2.18.0, the path to GNOME 2.20 is already starting to heat-up. GNOME 2.19.1, an unstable release, has its tar-balls due today followed by the official release this Wednesday. This is the first of nine test releases in the GNOME 2.19 series before GNOME 2.20.0 will be introduced. GNOME 2.20.0 is scheduled for release on September 19. Coming from the GNOME side of the web next month is GNOME 2.19.2 along with the stable release of GNOME 2.18.2. More information on the GNOME 2.19 series is available from GNOME Live.
