UBUNTU
Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft has been released this morning! Unlike the release four months ago of 6.06 Dapper Drake, Edgy Eft will only be supported for 18 months unlike the LTS (Long Term Support) found in Drake. Some of the Ubuntu highlights are the integration of GNOME 2.16, more mono programs, shutdown/startup improvements, and server improvements as well. The release announcement can be read on the mailing list.
