Last week I wrote about the in-development, build-it-yourself 64-bit ARM open-source laptop. That generated a fair amount of interest by the community in Olimex's work and now some more details have emerged.

Olimex Ltd has uploaded some photos from their recent help day and it includes more photos of this DIY ARM64 laptop. They also shared some extra details that the LCD for this laptop is just 2.8mm thick, the battery is 8000 mAh, and the overall dimensions of the plastic chassis are 29 x 20 x 1cm with a weight of less than 1kg, with them claiming a bit less than the size of an A4 piece of paper. However, they have yet to get an Allwinner A64 motherboard to fit inside this laptop housing.
