ReactOS 0.3.17 Now Runs More 16-bit Windows Applications

A big feature to this open-source operating system aiming for Windows binary compatibility is including NTVDM, a component needed to support a variety of 16-bit Windows applications. The NTVDM support was requested by the ReactOS community and should now be working as a "sneak peak" feature in v0.3.17 for running old 16-bit legacy applications.
The release announcement notes, "ReactOS is quickly approaching a stage where what the releases will offer is polish compared to previous releases. That will be an important milestone, as it is then that we can begin recommending to people that they try using ReactOS for day-to-day computing."
ReactOS 0.3.17 can be downloaded at ReactOS.org.
