Mesa 10.4 Tentatively Planned For Early December

In sticking to the three month release cadence of Mesa, Emil is proposing the Mesa 10.4 feature freeze and release candidate for 14 November with new release candidates to come weekly until the official release. Emil is tentatively thinking about the Mesa 10.4 release for 5 December.
That's less than one month out until the feature freeze for Mesa 10.4! Many users were hoping to see OpenGL 4.0 achieved this calendar year, which would be its last chance for Mesa 10.4 to be re-branded as Mesa 11.0. OpenGL 4.2 isn't out much further but in recent weeks there hasn't been too much to report on new OpenGL 4 extension enablement. It looks like things will be close whether GL 4.0/4.1/4.2 can be completed in the next three weeks.
Mesa 10.4 so far has a VA-API state tracker added back, RadeonSI Gallium3D improvements, Clover improvements, Sandy Bridge Geometry Shaders / OpenGL 3.2, and various new OpenGL extensions, among other changes.
The Mesa 10.4 release proposal was made a short time ago on Mesa-dev.
