Linux Mint 17.1 RCs Out For Xfce & KDE
Last month marked the release of the Cinnamon and MATE editions of Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca while on approach now is the KDE and Xfce desktop versions.
The KDE and Xfce re-spins of Linux Mint 17.1 "Rebecca" are now up to a release candidate stage.
The Xfce version of Linux Mint 17.1 features out-of-the-box Compiz support, various Xfce package updates, and then the many common improvements found with Linux Mint 17.1 in general and its Ubuntu 14.04 LTS base. The KDE version of Linux Mint 17.1 is similar and ships with the KDE 4.14 components. The KDE version also brings KWallet integration support.
