KDAB Provides An Overview Of Qt3D 2.0

Qt3D 2.0 is a complete rewrite of the original Qt3D component, which was never released with Qt5 since that was during the days when Nokia owned Qt and they axed the Brisbane Australia office that was responsible for this 3D component to Qt. Developers at KDAB and elsewhere though have been working on resurrecting Qt3D in the form of the new Qt3D 2.0. Qt3D 2.0 is making progress and will hopefully make it into a release in the not too distant future.
For those curious how Qt3D 2.0 is shaping up and its features, Sean Harmer of the KDAB Qt consulting company has penned the first part of an article providing an overview of Qt3D 2.0. Published just a few minutes ago was this KDAB blog post providing an initial overview of Qt3D 2.0 for those interested in 3D for Qt and its architecture.
