GNOME 3.14 Beta Released
The first beta of the upcoming GNOME 3.14 has been released ahead of its expected general availability in September.
The GNOME 3.14 Beta (v3.13.90) represents nearing the end of this major GNOME development cycle that brought improved Wayland support throughout the stack, HiDPI improvements, touch/gesture improvements, a new GTK+ default theme, and a wide variety of other improvements.
The GNOME 3.14 Beta release announcement can be read on their devel-announce-list. This release will be succeeded by a second beta (GNOME 3.13.91) on 3 September, the GNOME 3.14 release candidate on 17 September, and the expected official GNOME 3.14.0 release on 24 September.
