QEMU 2.1 RC2 Fixes A Ton Of Bugs
QEMU 2.1 is expected later this month while now the second to the last release candidate is available for those interested in testing it to ensure it will be a great release as being an important part to the Linux virtualization stack.
QEMU 2.1 has a lot of new features while its official release date is planned for 29 July and then as the final development milestone prior to that is QEMU 2.1 RC3 expected on 22 July. With yesterday's QEMU 2.1 RC2 release, there is a lot of bug-fixing that took place thanks to testing of 2.1-RC1.
In fact, there's over 70 fixes/changes just in this second release candidate. QEMU stakeholders interested in a complete list of changes can be found via the QEMU-devel mailing list.
