Scientific Linux 7.0 Alpha 2 Is Ready For Testing

The second alpha release to Scientific Linux 7.0 is now available for user testing.

Succeeding the initial Scientific Linux 7.0 Alpha from earlier this month is the second alpha that has various package updates / fixes for this OS that's derived from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 code-base.

Those interested in early testing of Scientific Linux 7.0 can find information via the Scientific mailing list.

In case you missed it, this week I got out some Scientific Linux 7.0 and CentOS 7.0 benchmarks compared to Fedora and Ubuntu for reference purposes.
