Though the work on the Direct3D command stream continues to be worked on by Stefan Dösinger at CodeWeavers for offloading more of the Direct3D graphics tasks to a separate CPU thread, the work simply isn't ready yet for being merged. While the Direct3D improvements are still non-mainlined -- nor any more support for Direct3D 10/11 renderer support -- there are other changes in Wine 1.7.15 work noting.
- New Task Scheduler service.
- Many regression test fixes.
- Support for exception unwinding in VBScript.
- Various bug fixes.
There's a total of 53 known bug-fixes in this bi-weekly development build. More Wine 1.7.15 information is available via the announcement at WineHQ.org.
