Phoronix Is Turning Ten Years Old In Two Weeks
Phoronix is turning ten years old in two weeks from today. Additionally, the Phoronix Test Suite will also be celebrating six years since the public release of Phoronix Test Suite 1.0.
In celebrating the decade that Phoronix has been around, I'm aiming to release Phoronix Test Suite 5.2-Khanino on the anniversary, 5 June. As such, today I have released the third milestone release of PTS 5.2. This third development release has improvements for the new built-in Phoromatic capabilities, some tweaks for the line graph improvements, KDE Framework 5 / Plasma Next detection support within Phodevi, and several other changes since the release of 5.2 Milestone 2 this past weekend.
Your feedback, bug reports, patches, etc, are most appreciated in ensuring a successful Phoronix Test Suite 5.2 release in two weeks time. The code and other information is available via GitHub and Phoronix-Test-Suite.com. Commercial support, custom engineering, and other services are available.
Besides celebrating with a new quarterly Phoronix Test Suite update, I'm hoping to have some other interesting, high-profile articles out the first week of June. Have any new Linux benchmark requests, Linux hardware review thoughts, etc? Let me know via @MichaelLarabel on Twitter or via MichaelLarabel.com.
If you wish to see Phoronix around for more years and the continued development of the open-source Phoronix Test Suite, consider subscribing to Phoronix Premium to support the site, which also allows for ad-free viewing and looking at multi-page articles condensed onto a single page, besides other features. PayPal tips are also welcome for the ten-year birthday support.
Thanks for reading all of these years and for your kind support, stay tuned for many more great Linux hardware articles to come and the official celebrations to get underway in two weeks!
