Unreal Engine 4.1 Released With Linux/SteamOS Support

Unreal Engine 4.1 features preview support for Linux/SteamOS but for now deploying projects to Linux requires compiling source from GitHub using a Windows-based computer. It appears there isn't yet native toolchain support with GCC on Linux, but obviously should come in due time along with native Unreal Engine 4 editor support for Linux.
The Unreal Engine 4.1 update also features full support for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. There's also a new elemental demo, a new content example level, project template fixes, editor improvements, and a range of other improvements for Unreal Engine 4.1. More details on this update to Unreal Engine 4 can be found via the UnrealEngine.com release notes. Now Linux gamers just need to wait for some Unreal Engine 4 games / tech demos to appear...
