LINUX KERNEL
The latest exciting set of kernel changes to mention for the Linux 3.15 kernel are some scheduler enhancements.

Following the Sunday night release of Linux 3.14, on Monday there was the pull request for the core scheduler improvements for the Linux 3.15 kernel, which Linus already pulled. What's worth noting with these updates are:

- Work in the direction of having deeper integration between the scheduler and CPU idle state selection.

- NUMA scheduling pseudo-interleaving.

- Optimizations to cgroup context switches.

- Real-time (RT) kernel scheduling enhancements.
