Mageia 4 Officially Released

The former Mandriva crew has released Mageia 4 ahead of FOSDEM 2014 this weekend in Brussels.

Mageia 4 features an update to RPM and URPMI, is powered by the Linux 3.12 kernel and systemd 208, is still using GRUB Legacy by default, has KDE 4.11 / GNOME 3.10 / Xfce 4.10 / Mate 1.6 / Cinnamon 2.0 has desktops, and finally has experimental UEFI support.
