PC-BSD 10.0 Has Been Officially Released
Besides incorporating FreeBSD 10's many changes, the ISO image now works as a hybrid USB image as well, there's support for selecting between GRUB and BSD loaders during installation, there's UEFI support, and there's several new desktops. The new additions to PC-BSD 10.0 include GNOME 3, MATE, and Cinnamon while KDE remains the default choice.
More details on today's PC-BSD 10.0-RELEASE can be found via the PC-BSD blog. Earlier this week I also shared my 10 minute experience with PC-BSD 10.0 using the latest release candidate at the time.
Stay tuned for PC-BSD 10 vs. Linux benchmarks in February. Have any other test requests? Let us know via Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
