The latest pull request for the Linux 3.14 kernel merge window are a second serving of Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) changes.

This second helping of KVM changes for the Linux 3.14 kernel provide minor x86 fixes, new S390 guest functionality, and all of the PowerPC architecture changes. The PowerPC KVM work for Linux 3.14 includes support for little-endian guests and new features for POWER8 hardware interested in virtualization with Linux KVM.

POWER8 is IBM's latest-generation Power Architecture that was announced a few months ago. POWER8 systems are not expected to ship for a few more months but already for quite some time in the Linux kernel and related components like GCC we have seen a fair amount of POWER8 activity.

The second KVM pull request for Linux 3.14 can be found via the Indiana LKML archives.
