Rafael J. Wysocki submitted the feature pull request for the ACPI and power management areas of the Linux kernel on Monday for the 3.14 merge window. As usual, there's a whole lot of changes scattered throughout.
Among the user-facing work are new Win8 OSI blacklist entries, many ACPI fixes, Intel P-State driver updates, Intel P-State support for Atom "Bay Trail" SoCs, AMD PowerNow-K6 fixes, support for hibernation APM events, CPU idle clean-ups, various CPUfreq driver fixes, a hibernation fix, PM core fixes, and various other fixes and clean-ups.
The Linux 3.14 kernel will also have the generic CPU Boost/Turbo support for CPUfreq.
