USB & Staging Driver Changes For The Linux 3.14 Kernel
Besides the sysfs to Kernfs changes that were submitted on Monday by a Greg Kroah-Hartman pull request, also submitted were pull requests for the USB and staging areas of the kernel for the Linux 3.14 release.
The initial USB patches for the Linux 3.14 kernel aren't terribly exciting and can be found via this Git pull request. The USB changes are scattered all over the place and pretty much appear to be the usual churn.
The staging driver patches for the Linux 3.14 kernel include "lots and lots of clean-ups", the DWC2 driver has graduated from the staging area, and there's a new driver. The new driver to the mainline Linux kernel is the "rts5208" and it's a Realtek RTS5208 PCI-E Card Reader.
Other Linux 3.14 staging work is more Lustre work, lots of continued Comedi changes, IIO driver improvements, various ION driver improvements, some Crystal HD driver improvements, and lots of other random work.
