PulseAudio Now Supports The Systemd Journal
Lennart Poettering's former project of focus, PulseAudio, now supports the journal of his increasingly-used systemd system management daemon.
With the latest PulseAudio development code, the sound server can support writing to systemd's journal using its native API. PulseAudio hasn't put a hard requirement on systemd but can be used in parallel with traditional syslog daemons.
More details can be found by this Git commit adding native systemd journal support to PulseAudio. This new feature will be found in PulseAudio 5.0 with many other new features, given PulseAudio 4.0 is already seven months old without a release since that point.
