GNOME
Beagle, the popular Novell-sponsored mono-based application, has reached version 0.2.3. Of course, Beagle is the popular search tool and offers its fair share of benefits. This release does fix a Mono bug that caused the Beagle daemon memory usage to spike heavily over time. Also in this release are a handful of other fixes and new search filters.
