GhostBSD 3.5 Supports LXDE, MATE, Openbox & Xfce

GhostBSD 3.5 is based on FreeBSD 9.2 and will support the LXDE, MATE, Openbox, and Xfce desktops as an alternative to the KDE-focused FreeBSD-based PC-BSD. Like PC-BSD, GhostBSD focuses upon a nice BSD-based desktop experience for end-users. Aside from pulling upstream FreeBSD 9.2 changes, the 3.5 RC1 release brings a new GDM log-in theme and various fixes to its packaged desktop environments.
More details on GhostBSD 3.5 RC1 can be found via its release announcement. Meanwhile for those that want a more bleeding-edge FreeBSD, there is already out FreeBSD 10 Alpha.
