While FreeBSD 9.2 hasn't even been released yet, the first alpha development release of FreeBSD 10.0 is now available.

FreeBSD 10.0 is the next major advancement to this BSD operating system. Among its features include an AMD Radeon KMS driver ported from Linux, GCC is no longer part of the FreeBSD base in favor of LLVM/Clang, Raspberry Pi ARM support, and there's BHyVe virtualization, among many other interesting features.

For those wanting to try the FreeBSD 10 Alpha it was released on Friday and download links are available from this mailing list message.

The final release of FreeBSD 10.0 isn't expected until 2014 and before then will be plenty more alpha/beta builds.
