Oculus Rift Is Easy To Setup On Linux

The Oculus SDK has added Linux support in the past and it appears from the setup perspective for end-users/gamers, it's easy to do on Linux too.
Richard Jones of Red Hat has blogged about his first experiences with an Oculus Rift on Linux: it's basically plug-and-play.
When connecting the Oculus Rift head-mounted display to Linux, it appears as a 1280 x 800 secondary display that can be controlled via Linux. Of course, it will also be up to the games to support the Oculus Rift technology, but at least Valve and Unigine Corp are already very interested and have been supporting this intriguing VR product.
